Mum, my tummy hurts!

Our children often complain about their stomach ache, but we don’t use to pay too much attention. In this article I explain my experience with my daughter’s frequently complaints and how they disappeared.
My eldest daughter had suffered since she was a baby of stomach aches, but every time they were more often. Above all, they were more acute when she had more homework and she got home very tired. And I thought that the pain was because a constipation, of because she had eaten too much sweeties, or because she was tired, or nervous, or because the school in general. The doctors neither paid too much attention, just receipt paraffin oil for the constipation.
She had always been a hypersensitive girl, very shy and weak. But when she was 8 years old she had pain every day. Even more she felt always tired, when she got back home she couldn’t do the homework, she couldn’t attend the sports or math class. She had not any friend; she was in a deep blues. She cried for any setback she lived. Then the doctor, an homeopathic one, thought she was depressed, because on Monday was the day she felt worst and also she had some problems with her teacher. But then she began loosing weight, 2 kilos in 8 months! Then the doctor decided to do a blood test, and the result was that she had CELIAC DISEASE!
Then we eliminate everything with gluten, and to simplify cooking and avoid contaminations all the family began eating gluten-free.
Some time afterwards a mum explained me that there is a therapy called NAET that eliminates all kinds of allergy. Because I suffer hay fever, I decided to try it. So I went to a naturopath that used this kind of therapy. As part of the treatment, he recommended me to follow the Seignalet diet, so I stopped eating modern cereals (wheat, corn, rye, barley), introduced some ancient cereals (quinoa, buckwheat, and amaranth); I eliminated all the diary products and introduced some calcium substitutions and decreased the cooking temperature, and also some more other improvements.
My daughter now eats some candies and sweeties but she has NEVER stomach ache. She can do very well her math class and still struggle in sports class. She is still a very sensitive girl, not very strong, but she doesn’t fall in blues or cries when she has some problem. She can bear the frequently usual social problems between friends or some bad academic result at school. She is happy now.
My nephew frequently vomited when she was a baby. She had severe stomach aches when she was older, and till she was 12 years old they didn’t discover she has lactose allergy. The paediatrician had told when she was younger that if she vomited after taking her milk she could stop drinking it. Why didn’t he tell to do a blood test to determine her milk allergy if he suspected it was possible? Why has she had to suffer during 12 years till she got to a severe condition?
My goal with this article is that children who begin to have some stomach aches don’t have to wait until a deep blues or severe pain to be diagnosed a gluten or diary allergy, or any other kind of allergy. Allopath doctors don’t take seriously a disease until the child gets into a severe condition. And even if they decide to do a blood test, sometimes the child can be just sensitive but not allergic to something, and that can not be known by a blood test. Conventional doctors don’tuse to take into account food intolerancy and some of them have not enough knowledge about it.
Even more, pain is intensified with stress, for example, if the child has a bad time with their friends, or the teacher, or family problems. Then we believe that these problems are the cause of the pain, but it’s on the opposite sense, it’s the physical disease that doesn’t allow confronting live problems.
It’s not normal that a child has stomach ache if has a good health. Find the reason. I suggest you that if the doctor doesn’t pay too much attention, you can try eliminate from your child diet the food you suspect he can be allergic to during 15 days. The food more likely to be allergic to are milk, wheat, eggs, nuts and fish. But he/she can be allergic to any food!
When the child grows the manifestations of the allergy can change. Then, when he’s a baby, he could suffer for diarrhoea or vomit, when older stomach aches, headaches, acne, deep blues, chronic fatigue, etc. And when adult, it can provoke osteoporosis, colon irritable syndrome and even cancer. There are a lot of persons that discover the intolerance in a very advanced aged, and have been suffering for a terrible disease during all their life!
