07/05/2009 - Mum, my tummy hurts! (2nd part)

Last February we were said that my eldest daughter has celiac disease, after some months of severe stomach aches. You can read the story on this article.

Some months ago my youngest daughter also began to have stomach aches. The first foods to suspect about were gluten and milk, but after some surveillance I realized that they weren’t the reason. I decided to write down the last meal she had every time before stomach aches.

The third time it happened I realized that the only thing that was in common was the raisin! So I decided to do a test: I gave her raisins alone and waited for the reaction. And some hours afterwards the stomach ache began!

Then, I brought my daughter to follow a NAET therapy treatment, that confirmed her allergy to this food. Three sessions afterwards the allergy disappeared, now she can eat raisin without any problem!

31/03/2009 - Shampoos and Conditioners are Frequent Causes of Common Skin Problem

Mercola.com. Considerably more people than previously believed are allergic to the most common fragrance ingredient used in shampoos, conditioners and soap. In a study, over 5 percent of those who underwent patch testing were allergic to the air oxidized form of the fragrance ingredient linalool.

Linalool is found in 60 to 80 percent of perfumed hygiene products, soap and household cleaning agents that can be bought in the supermarket, so it can be difficult for people who are allergic to avoid these products.

In the study, oxidized linalool was added at patch testing for more than 3,000 patients who wanted to find out what was causing their eczema. Between 5 percent and 7 percent proved to be allergic.

21/03/2009 - Interview to Annette van der Kaaij, natural healer
Annette is a therapist of natural healing, energetic and coaching. She's mother of 3 children. She cures allergy with the NAET method, a combination of knowledge derived from allopathic medicine, oriental medicine and acupuncture, chiropractic, kinesiology and nutrition.

I'm myself under this treatment and the results are being very good up to now, I just have to wait the end of spring and summer to be sure that all my allergies have been removed (I was allergic to almost everything that I can breath and some food too).

Annette explains in her own blog centreathenee.blogspot.com about this method. Now is following the interview.

03/02/2009 - Got Milk Allergy? What the Labels (and Docs!) Don't Tell Us
According to CNN and a recent study published in the Journal of Allergy and Immunology, milk allergy is the most common food allergy, having established itself in the number one position in the last ten years.

Interestingly, a new protein was introduced into the American milk supply just over ten years ago. Children with a milk allergy see the proteins found in milk as “foreign” which in turn triggers an allergic reaction.

Are these recently introduced proteins responsible for the milk allergy epidemic? You decide.

What the leading pediatric allergists (funded by Big Food and Big Pharma) failed to tell us…

In the early 1990s, one of the world’s largest chemical companies, Monsanto Corporation, in conjunction with a global pharmaceutical corporation, invented a drug that could be injected into cows to increase their milk production.

11/08/2008 - The NAET method

Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques eliminate your allergies and allergy-related illnesses. It combats all kind of allergies. It’s based on chiropractic techniques to detect the allergies and kinesiology to cure the allergy.

The patient holds the allergenic agent and the therapist test if the strength of the patient is lower. In this case, it can be said that the person has a certain intolerance or allergy to this product.

Next, the kinesiology “reprograms” the body “telling” that this agent is not harmful to him, and therefore, that the immunologic system doesn’t have to attack it. The way to perform this “reprogramming” is to give soft massages in the back, in some specific points that correspond to energetic points of the body.
